Astăzi, Academia Americană de Film a anunţat nominalizările la premiile Oscar pentru producţiile anului 2011. Festivitatea de decernare a trofeelor va avea loc pe 27 februarie. Vedeta nominalizărilor este “The Artist”, primul film mut care după 85 de ani are şanse să primească trofeele Academiei Americane de Film. Pelicula a adunat 10 nominalizări, cu una mai puţin decât filmul lui Martin Scorsese, “Hugo”.

Gala de decernare a Premiilor Oscar va fi difuzată în direct şi în exclusivitate la HBO, în varianta originală, nedublată, în noaptea de duminică (26 februarie) spre luni, de la ora 3:00 am.
